2 Thessalonians 1:1-4 | From Bad to Worse

There is a sense in which television has trained us to believe that our problems are supposed to wrap up quickly. Every sitcom for the last fifty years has introduced and solved a problem in less than 30 minutes, but real life doesn’t work that way.

Sometimes our problems go from bad to worse.

That was the experience of the Thessalonian church between the two letters that bear their name.

This week we will begin our walk through of 2 Thessalonians and we will see that while life often has problems, in Christ, it always has enough grace, peace, and strength to overcome them.
