Our Core Values

The Exaltation of Christ
We value the name of Jesus Christ as the name above all names and believe that we as a church exist to bring Him glory in all things (1 Corinthians 10:31).

Everything we do must be exalting Christ because the Bible exalts Christ. Our love for Him must permeate everything we do as we recognize and respond to Him as ultimate in our lives.
The Centrality of the Word of God
We value the Word of God as our absolute authority and the primary source for transformation in the lives of people (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Psalm 138:2).

The Bible must be taught in a passionate, culturally relevant, practical manner with an expectation and emphasis on life change in light of the power of the gospel.
The Necessity of Prayer
We value the power of righteous individuals praying with passion, expecting God to do great things for the glory of His name (James 5:16).

Apart from Christ we can do nothing- this is expressed, not exclusively but especially through prayer.
The Expectation of Spiritual Growth
We value lifelong spiritual growth and we believe that increasing devotion to Christ and His cause is expected for every Christ-follower (Colossians 1:28).

We must have an expectation of life change in response to a confrontation with Jesus Christ and Biblical truth. Therefore, we believe every follower of Christ is expected to grow and change over time to increasingly reflect the nature and character of Jesus Christ.
The Execution of the Great Commission
We value the Great Commission command of making disciples and therefore lost people matter to us (Matthew 28:19-20).

Mission work is essential to the life of a church, and we should have an expectation of unbelievers present in our ministries. We should also encourage and engage in creative, relevant, and impactful missional work inside and outside the church.

The Edification of Community
We value authentic community and we believe life change best happens through small groups of people functioning biblically (1 Peter 1:22; Acts 2:42-47; Hebrews 10:24-25).

People were made to glorify God, but they were designed to live in community with one another- to do life together. It is a Biblical and essential component to spiritual growth.
The Authenticity of Worship
We value Christ-followers gather for edificational, whole-hearted, God-focused worship, with an eye toward evangelism (Psalm 40:3).

Worship is essential to our view of God, building a sense of community together, and preparing the heart for the preaching of the Word. Worship is a lifestyle that connects the rest of life to what we do in and through the church. It should be God exulting, edifying, and missional in nature.

Our Vision

is to have every disciple fully engaged in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. We accomplish this, in part, by engaging in our Discipleship Process as listed below.
