1 Thessalonians 5:23-28 | One Step After Another

Every journey begins with a first step and ends with a last step. The first step in the Christian journey begins at salvation and it doesn’t end until we breathe out our last breath. In between those two events we are called to learn, apply truth, grow, and change as we take the long walk towards Christlikeness.

The apostle Paul prays this great prayer in 1 Thessalonians 5:23, “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely.” That is our prayer for you, as well.

So, the question becomes this, in your journey of progressive sanctification toward your ultimate or complete sanctification, what is your next step and how can we help you take it? And then you keep doing that until you see Jesus. That’s the Christian journey.
