1 Thessalonians 3:11-13 | Learning to Pray

There are between 100 and 150 prayers recorded in the Bible, depending on how individual scholars classify a particular passage.

One takeaway from that fact is that prayer is a major theme of the Scripture. Prayer connects us to God. It allows the believer to both unburden themselves and strengthen themselves almost simultaneously.

Prayer is a way to worship God, give thanks to God, and to discern the will of God. It should be one of the most natural things a Christ-follower can do and yet, most of us learn to pray over time and through the example of others.

This week the apostle Paul will pray for the Thessalonians and there is much for us to learn from it.
