1 Thessalonians 2:13-16 | The Essential Word

The Word of God is a miraculous work of God. It was written progressively over 1600 years by 40 different human authors in three different languages who had 19 different occupations in 13 different countries across 66 unique books and yet, there is one redemptive thread that weaves it all together perfectly.

There is not another book like it in the world and yet, sadly, many Christians lose their hunger for it over time.

This week the apostle Paul is going to commend the Thessalonians for the way they heard, received, and accepted the Word of God.

The question is, can that be said of you. One’s relationship to the Bible will determine everything else about their relationship with God and the world.
