The Power of a Promise

A promise is a powerful thing. It is meant to create an unbreakable bond between people, groups, or nations.

All of us have experienced the comfort that accompanies a promise kept and the pain that accompanies a promise broken.

As Christ-followers, we rejoice that our God is a promise making God. In fact, our faith is founded and built on promises made thousands of years ago and yet the Scriptures say that each one is yes and amen in Christ Jesus.

This week we will celebrate the covenant nature of our God and our faith and the hope that comes from knowing that in every trial and every season of life, God is always keeping His promises.
