Fight the Right Fight
May 25, 2025 • Pastor Doug Forman
There are significant commonalities to the human experience, but they can seem so easily eclipsed by our different preferences and perspectives.
We like different foods, we listen to different music, we enjoy different hobbies, and forms of entertainment and, as trivial as these differences can appear, they can push people apart.
This is especially dangerous in the church, which relies so heavily on unity. For the next month we will explore Romans 14 and the apostle Paul’s teachings on matters of conscience and Christian liberty.
This week, we will consider the difference between one’s convictions and preferences to make sure that, as Christians, we’re always fighting the right fights.
