One Hope - One Purpose

We live in a culture that is increasingly self-centered, where people feel entitled to do and say what they want, especially when they don’t get what they want.

God presents a very different dynamic to living in this world. The Apostle Paul, in this week’s text, says that we should not live to simply please ourselves, as if we were the center of all things, but rather to please and encourage others so that we could, with one unified voice, glorify our great God and Savior.

Imagine what our culture would look like if the Church of Jesus Christ set the example in celebrating what we have in common while accommodating and encouraging one another in our differences.
