Civics 101

This week we are returning to our Masterclass series as we walk through the book of Romans and the apostle Paul is going to shine a light on our civic responsibilities.

The fact of the matter is that we all live in a society that is marked by rules, norms, and laws. So, there are some things that are required of us and there are some things that ought to be expected of us. Some of those things are easy because we agree with them, or we’re naturally inclined to them. Some of them are hard.

Nevertheless, Scripture says that, as Christians, we hold dual citizenship. We are citizens of heaven and of earth. 

Therefore, how we conduct ourselves in this life has immense importance not just in time, but for eternity, as well.
