Made Perfect

Human beings have always needed counsel and instruction. We are the only creatures in God’s great big creation that had to be told how to glorify Him when we were made (Genesis 2:16-17). Nothing has changed. We still need counsel and instruction.

Life is often hard, and confusing and sin ensures that, at some level, we do not see the world or ourselves as clearly as we ought to.

This week the apostle Paul will say to the believers in Rome that he is confident that they are well equipped to instruct one another in the things of God. Can that be said of you? Can that be said of us as a local church? The mission of the church hangs on the answer.
