The Stewardship of Choice

Everyone makes choices based on what they value. That’s as true as the fact that the sun will rise tomorrow. You can see what you value in terms of how you spend your time and money, and where you seek your pleasure and entertainment.

In Romans 14 the apostle Paul is walking through a lengthy section concerning conscience issues and why we do what we do and choose what we choose.

This week, he will shine a spotlight on the Lord. Fourteen times in seven verses he points our attention to God in Christ, and he ends with this sobering statement, “each of us will give an account of himself to God (Rom.14:12).”
