It's Not About You

This week we are bringing our summer series to a close with one of the most important lessons every Christ-follower needs to learn…it’s not about you.

Our immediate response is, “Well, who is it about then?”

It’s ultimately about Jesus Christ. We have life because of Him. Our purpose is to glorify Him. And we live to draw ever closer to Him and to make Him known.

Far too many people are living to build their own tiny kingdoms, but when we live for ourselves, we hurt people and, in the end, diminish our own lives.

It is our prayer that each of us have learned something, through the experiences of others, this summer that helps us live a little more wisely, skillfully, and godly in this world.
