Some people argue that Jesus died because He was a victim of His own success. He became too popular and made enemies of powerful people who killed Him when circumstances grew beyond His control.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
In this week’s text we will see that Jesus drove every circumstance and every conversation so that He arrived at the Cross exactly when He intended to. Everyone else, from Herod to Caiaphas to Pilate, is a bit player in His story of love and redemption.
It is our prayer that you will be strengthened and encouraged as you see King Jesus sovereignly reigning over those who tried to “oppose” Him.
