1 Thessalonians 1:2-3 | The Essential Triad

A triad can simply be defined as three connected things. This week the apostle Paul will walk us through an essential triad of behaviors or characteristics that ought to mark the life of a genuine Christ-follower.

The fact is, if you were dead in your trespasses and sins as Ephesians 2 says we all were, and you were made alive through faith in Jesus Christ, that resurrection from spiritual death to spiritual life has to show up in your life in some way. If Jesus has saved you, He has changed you and is changing you still.

The question is this, how are works of faith, labors of love, and steadfast hope evidencing themselves in your life right now?
