02 The Faithfulness of God Jonah:1:4-6

Unbelievers always live their lives running from God until He stops them in their tracks and brings them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
I wish, for Christians, that was the end of our running.
The fact is that most Christians have moments or even seasons where they choose to run from God. Jonah makes it clear, however, that our faithful heavenly Father will not let His people run forever.
In our text this week, God takes rather dramatic action to stop his runaway prophet from taking another step of rebellion and to begin the process of turning him around.
