More Than a Man 02- Promises Kept

This week, in our Advent series, we are going to consider the fact that Jesus is the culmination of literally hundreds of Old Testament prophecies. And we understand, as good Bible people, that every prophecy is a promise.

God kept some of those promises in the first coming of Jesus Christ, through the virgin. Who can forget that moment in time when an angelic choir broke the silence of night to declare, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom He is pleased!”

God will keep the rest of those promises at Jesus’s second coming when He returns to rule over a renewed creation when we will truly have peace on earth. That truth is meant to change our lives and fuel our worship this Christmas season.
