The Mission

It’s true that we only get one life to live. Therefore, it’s imperative that we live it with purpose and intentionality. If you are a Christ-follower, Jesus has defined what that purpose is supposed to be. Matthew 28:18-20 says that we are called to glorify God by making more and better disciples of Christ.

The apostle Paul, in Romans 10, adds urgency to that command with one simple, profound, and necessary question, “How can people believe in Jesus for salvation if they’ve never heard of Him or His Good News?”

They can’t. That’s why we’re here. That’s why you live where you live and work where you work and suffer the things you suffer through. The question becomes, are you living on mission, working on mission, suffering on mission, and loving people with a purposeful and missional love?
