Holy Purpose

So many people live without a sense of purpose. To that end, they live accidentally rather than intentionally. God is not like that. He does all things with immense purpose including the means by which He has chosen to save sinners.

There are aspects of salvation that are so simple that even a child can understand them and there are others that run deep enough that we could spend a lifetime in pursuit of understanding them and still not be satisfied that we’ve gotten there.

This week marks the beginning of a three-week journey in Romans 9 to understand “God’s purpose of election.” It is our prayer that your awe and adoration of God may grow as a result of walking what might be a challenging road.
