Baptized into Christ

Oct 15, 2023    Pastor Doug Forman

The Bible teaches that every believer is actually to be baptized twice. One is a dry baptism, and one is a wet baptism. The “dry” baptism is the baptism of the Holy Spirit which occurs at the moment of salvation. The “wet” baptism is when the believer submits to Christ and follows Him in obedience to the Great Commission and is baptized by immersion in water.

In this week’s text the apostle Paul speaks to the believer’s baptism into Christ, and in doing so he gives us the significance of what water baptism is illustrating.

The question is this – are you saved, and if so, have you died to sin and are you walking in the newness of life?
