05 Legacy - The Danger of an Unsettled Heart

At some point in our lives we will all face our "Goliath" and our "Saul." One is a battle fought in a moment in time. The other is a battle fought over time. One is scary and the other is exhausting. Both can make us forget our God and turn to false saviors who, ultimately, cannot save us.
In this week's text we will see David, in his fear and desperation, turn to the enemies of God for rescue only to humiliate himself in his sin. If we want to live a life that leaves a godly legacy, we must live our one life fully dependent upon the one true and living God.
